Your local Council's Leisure Services should offer a wide range of Play Schemes and local leisure activities to keep young people entertained during the school holidays.

Check your local Swimming Pools for school holiday hours. They usually change their session times to accomodate children as well as special fun swim sessions and crash swimming courses. If you don't have a local pool, try your local Leisure Centres. Many offer holiday clubs, soft play areas, sports coaching, and swimming.

Another option is Camps. There are a variety of them available, including non-residential day camps. Or for that all day family outting, try your favourite Zoos & Animal Park or Theme Park.

Try your local Library, which have the obvious attraction of books, but most now offer computer stations for the older kiddies and storytime for the younger. Another favourite is your local town centre or shopping centre, which always lay on children's activities during school holidays.
